ACTON, Mass. – June 3, 2008 – eIQnetworks®,
Inc., a global provider of integrated security, risk and audit
management solutions, today reported record sales and revenue
results for fiscal year 2008, which ended April 30. Fueled by
strong enterprise adoption of its flagship SecureVue®
solution – which combines powerful IT governance, risk and
compliance (GRC) and enterprise security management (ESM)
capabilities onto a single platform – eIQ’s FY08 closed with
three consecutive quarters of profitability and 125% revenue
growth over FY07. In addition, fourth quarter revenues grew
30% over the previous quarter.
“The introduction of our groundbreaking SecureVue solution
last year contributed to a solid, upward growth trajectory for
eIQ during fiscal 2008,” said Vijay Basani, CEO of
eIQnetworks. “Enterprise and MSSP customers are driving the
continued triple-digit revenue growth, taking advantage of
SecureVue’s unmatched ability to deliver enterprise-wide
insight into security and compliance while encouraging
collaboration between operational, security and audit teams.”
SecureVue Drives Record Enterprise
Traction, International Demand
Just as network systems management platforms changed the
network landscape by combining broad capabilities into a
single solution, SecureVue is altering traditional security
and compliance management in a similar way – eliminating
numerous point solutions by collecting, correlating and
analyzing all security-related data and incorporating
comprehensive IT GRC capabilities.
Based on its breadth of functionality – which drives
operational efficiency and reduces management complexity –
organizations are increasingly turning to SecureVue over
pure-play SIM (security information management) and IT GRC
solutions to address evolving and overlapping security, risk
and audit management requirements. SecureVue’s flexibility and
customization capabilities make it easy for customers to
leverage the platform for standalone ESM or combined ESM and
IT GRC capabilities, and to obtain high level or drill-down
dashboard views of enterprise-wide security and compliance
posture.
In FY08, eIQ deployed SecureVue with more than 40 enterprise
and managed security service provider customers in the
financial services, energy, media, government and retail
industries. Global demand for SecureVue also drove the
establishment of a new eIQ office in London and the expansion
of its management team to include John Linkous in the
newly-created position of IT GRC evangelist.
Industry Accolades
During FY08, eIQ garnered overwhelming industry recognition
for both its corporate performance and its innovative
SecureVue platform. In May, leading industry analyst research
firm, Gartner Inc., positioned eIQ in the Visionaries Quadrant
of its newly published “Magic Quadrant for Security
Information and Event Management.” Also in May, Red Herring
named eIQ to its prestigious Red Herring 100 winners list,
which honors the most innovative private technology companies
based in North America.
In addition, business portal About.com awarded SecureVue with
4.5 stars out of a possible 5, and Redmond magazine named
SecureVue its “Product Roundup Champion” in a group review of
compliance solutions, with a score of 9.2 out of 10. SecureVue
also received Info Security Products Guide’s 2008 Global
Product Excellence Customer Trust Award in the “Compliance”
category.
